Joe Moriarty has been in the mortgage banking industry for twenty years and a real estate broker for eighteen years. He has served on several mortgage banking and real estate committees including the Greater Manchester Board of Realtors - Education and Affiliate Committees, New Hampshire Association of Realtors - Education Committee, New Hampshire Real Estate Commission - Instructor Workshop Committee and approved Real Estate Instructor, and Mortgage Bankers - Education Committee and Board of Governors.

During the past twenty years, Joe has been featured as a guest speaker before various real estate organizations and government agencies including Housing and Urban Development (HUD) and Veterans Administration (VA). His seminars primarily address the importance and "how-to" of home ownership and include such topics as the importance of saving and planning, choosing a real estate broker and mortgage finance company, credit counseling, and structuring the home purchase and sales agreement to meet different financial needs. He has also instructed new real estate licensees on different financing programs.

Joe appeared bi-weekly on WMUR-TV Channel 9's "News at 5" business segment, offering an overview of the week's real estate and economic news and insight into the mortgage market. He was also a co-host for seven years of The Real Estate and Financial Planning Show which aired on WGIR AM610 and WMUR-TV. He is often interviewed and quoted on television and in print and has published articles on various real estate topics.

He has held membership in several professional organizations including Mortgage Bankers Association, New Hampshire Association of Realtors, Greater Manchester Board of Realtors and New Hampshire Real Estate Educators Association.

He has received several awards from the real estate community, Affiliate of the Year-1995 for the Greater Manchester Board of Realtors, Affiliate Honor Society for the New Hampshire Association of Realtors and The President's Award-1996 for Outstanding Service to the Real Estate Community by the Greater Manchester Board of Realtors.

Joe has also served on several community boards including Notre Dame College Board of Stewards, Holy Family Academy Board of Advisors, Optima Board of Incorporators, Visiting Nurses Board of Trustees, Better Business Bureau of NH and the Exchange Club. Joe received an Honorable Discharge from the United States Air Force and received his Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Utah. He resides in Manchester with his wife Pam and twochildren.
